Facememory® and the "Give Memory" campaign, nominated for the Internet Day awards

Voting returns to the Internet Day Awards and Ace Alzheimer Center Barcelona departs with two projects among the nominees.

Once again, the “Give Memory” campaign, which Ace launches every year on the occasion of World Alzheimer's Day, is nominated in the "Digital Transformation - NGO social action" category.

The main focus of the video released in 2021 was on recent memory loss in people with Alzheimer's. The campaign had the collaboration of the advertisers Toni Segarra and Lluís Bassat and five users of the Ace Day Care Unit, who visualized a supposed "perfect advertising spot" designed by the advertisers to make it memorable. Instead, as the video shows, nothing is that simple for people with Alzheimer's.

On the other hand, the digital and self-administered test Facememory® has entered this year among the nominees for the best “Entrepreneurship and research – Health” project.

Facememory® is the first totally self-administered verbal memory test using a computer or tablet, with voice recognition and automated immediate correction that allows early detection of cognitive impairment and Alzheimer's disease in the general population.

It is available and free to anyone who wants to assess their memory from anywhere in the world without leaving home. It has been designed in Spanish, Catalan and English.
